My job involves awful lots of different things. Obviously, primarily
to look after eight people with mental health problems. We trying
to remain as much as we can within the community, as much as in ordinarily
household. The qualities that you need to do this job are: patience,
understanding, sensitivity, empathy for people with mental health
problems. It's important to put yourself in someone else's shoes and
imagine what its like. Just to realise that Rome wasn't built in a
day. Everyday is completely different, you are dealing with people
so they have their ups and downs, it's always something to be done.
Its about what you put in the job as well, when you put in alot, you
get alot back.
